WINDGEN PLANS 4 SALE
Question:
> Interesting serial spammer here. On 5/8 you post under the name > "Major Ron" that plans are not for sale because we weren’t good enough > then on 5/10 it’s back under the name "Ron Boden". Same e-mail > address. Me smells a "get rich quick on Y2K" plan afoot and s***w > you if you don’t buy it.
Hi Knome, Look my friend — it looks like this gent is having a rough go with the ‘net. If his information is accurate (and I suspect it is), then this is exactly the type of thing we need. Think about what you’re seeing here — an enterprising individual willing to experiment and invent. They package and sell the sweat-of-their-brow for a profit. What’s wrong with that?? Absolutely nothing!

How do you delete only the flamers without reading the post first?
Response:
Now what’s wrong with what Ron is doing here?. Do you really have a complaint or are you just pissin and moanin? GFY Paul K N9EMX.
Response:
After the "last" bunch of flamers screamed several people asked Ron to continue to offer his plans. I would imagine this is him doing just that. Being new to this group I was amazed at the vicious slashing comments by some posters. I guess it is the ability to post their nasty comments without facing their target. Makes it easy to be insulting. Of course there is nothing wrong in disagreeing with a poster and having dialogue. Childish ranting is just that. Childish, and shows the lack of communicable skills that the poster possesses. <shrug> Oh well. Guess it does speak well of the Old West days where most people carried a sidearm openly. I would imagine open stupid insults were minimal in that period. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – >Now what’s wrong with what Ron is doing here?. Major Ron, Having a tough time of it? You might want to look at this from the customers’ point of view. Your messages so far have only specified the info that you are interested in. Like the making money part. I have no problem with that, I sell plans to my unique inventions too. The problem with your original post, and this second post, is that it tells me nothing I want to know. You might catch more customers if you specified a bit more up front. Like how big the blades are in diameter, how many blades, the type of construction, what special tools are needed, how many hours it takes to build a windgen, how much it costs to make a windgen, how much power one can expect in 5, 10, 15, 20 mph winds. Folks that have done their homework are going to want to know more, like the airfoil shape of the blades (NCAA number), are they constant cord and or constant pitch, the overall efficiency, is their a furling mechanism, at what speed does it shutdown, what max wind is it rated for, how many have you build, what type of maintenance is their per 1000 hours of operation. If you are expecting folks to send in their $$$ without at least knowing some of these points, then the spider in your mailbox is going to be very lonely. Secondly, the folks on this news group are pretty savvy. You might want to try being friendly. Not many businesses that yell at me get my business. Not many businesses that close down and then open up again in another week with a new name get my business either. hope his helps… NoFoolin

OH GET OVER IT!! you were so insulting because he did not give his name and prices and personal and relevant info and now you are mad because he did. do you honestly think you can have it both ways? or are you just so sour that you cannot like anything someone not of your "group" does. if so you will no doubt find something nasty to say to me now. perhaps you do not care for what he has to offer. Perhaps someone else does. I know my pastor asked me to search for plans such as he mentions four months ago and I could find Nothing. I will be glad to fullfill ONE of his requests. Cease and desist PLEASE!!! Kitty

Well said. I’ve always considered it bad form to use E-mail or news groups to say indirectly what you do not want to say face to face. If you hav’nt the guts to say it in person, do not hide behind a keyboard. Bob
