What to do in London on Dec 24-26?
Question:
Hi I’m going to be in London over Christmas weekend and have no plans. Does anybody know what is open on those days? I know the Dickens House Museum is open. So are a lot of churches, including St. Pauls. London Walks is also doing most of their schedule. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Thanks! -Matthew Before you buy.

Despite these exceptions (I must say that I didn’t know about either Dickens House or London Walks), don’t underestimate what you’re doing. On Christmas day itself there will be almost no public transport, and few shops or restaurants will be open. Pubs tend to open for a couple of hours around lunchtime. The opportunities really are very limited, so if you find something and have double-checked that it’s open, then do it. There will be few alternatives..
