These darned (and beloved) orders from customers are keeping us jumping and leaving us no time for anything but work. Our "backer" turned out to be a company that simply wanted to broker the sale of our company and did not actually have the money needed to produce the lures as originally claimed. They finally believed that we were unwilling to sell the patent after we turned down some very healthy offers and they have thus disappeared. Now we are going to not only have to continue to make the lures ourselves, we also have to do the stupid business plans, etc. to raise the money the hard way (banks, etc.) to permit the expansion that we so desperately need. We have contacted some other companies for manufacturing help, but this is all going to take time. I miss having the time to spend in the group, and anxiously look forward to the day when the time will exist for me to come back on a daily basis. In the meantime, I will just sneak in when I can  here & there. — Bob Rickard SECRET WEAPON — The world’s finest spinnerbaits! Hey Bob… I have some mixed emotions about your success. One one hand, I’m glad that the business is good, but on the other hand, that means that more and more people are fishing with my favorite spinnerbaits. There goes that leading edge, but congrats on your success!

And if he ever catches the people who robbed his stuff, he can use the big hooks to gore them with.
