Be flexible in your plans. I just got back from a business trip to London, and by moving my flight from 9:00 on a Sunday morning to 9:00 on Saturday night, and moving the return on Friday from 6:00 pm to 2:00 pm cut the airfare in less then half (same airline).
I will be travelling from N Y to Manchester U K in Oct .I will be staying in U K for a couple of weeks and then I will be returning to N Y from London Gatwick Now I havent booked my flight yet but is there a secret to getting the best price for this trip ? Any tips or advice from more seasoned flyers would be appreciated Thankyou

The best prices are obtained through consolidators (who generally deal only with travel agents). I’m a travel agent in my spare time. Let me know if I Liz
