Info needed on hydraulic water pumnp

Question:

I saw somewhere plans for a water pump I could put into a creek where this a water fall, that would pump water back up a hill without any other power. Does anyone have any plans or know where such a pump could be purchased? Jerry

How much water? I could do the thing in a few mins with a pump from a wash machine, and a waterwheel made of scrap lumber. Not a lot of water, but it would, one assumes, 24 hours a day. Change sizes of paddle wheels and of pumps and off you go. "The learned Fool writes his nonsense in better language, but ’tis still nonsense." B.Franklin ‘Poor Richard Improved’ (1754) Lou H.
