Have you seen the new gross business class meals on AA?

Question:

American used to have appealing-looking business class meals, on a big plate, with the food items separate from each other.  Well, yesterday I got one in a tiny square shaped bowl.  The potatoes, gravy, and steak grease all seemed to be blended into a paste, and the vegetables were buried underneath.  It still tasted OK, but it looked more disgusting than anything I’d ever seen before, including in coach.  Yuk!  The flight attendant says that’s how they’re serving the meals now.  What the heck is American thinking?

Response:

The change was made to allow more room in the business galley. American plans to offer personal video machines to business class customers.  Customers will be able to choose which videos they wish to view, like the first class customers do now. If you were dissatisfied with the new presentation, I hope you let the flight attendants know.  This is basically being tested and customer feedback will decide whether the pre-plated entrees stay or go.
