Excuse me, I was laughing out loud here—-I’m sure you heard me in Disneyville. > Sandy Farb will be visiting starting August 18. Tell me now Sandy…do you buy > your clothes in the children’s department? Please tell me your dress size is > in double digits!!!
Are you kidding???! I am 5 ft 8 in or so (I seem to have shrunk from my usual 5 ft 10 in), and I won’t tell you what I weigh! All I can say is that I seem to have gained almost 10 pounds in the past few months. I’m sure it’s from listening to everyone talk about food and weight on this ng. <g> And of course the prednisone doesn’t help. I could probably wear something from the childrens’ department on one leg! I hope you two manage Disney well with the chairs, and that the knees quiet down. Have a great time, and tell us all about it! Sandy F.

Hi Friends, Today’s the big day…Magic Kingdom!!!! There was a modification in plans…arthur decided he was being ignored….You know how these damn diseases get offended if they aren’t the center of attention. Yesterday I practiced better living through chemistry, with an afternoon cocktail of two darvocets and a flexeril. Aase and I spent an hour in the jacuzzi, with Erik playing cabana boy. I was ready for sleep and it was still light out. Hey, it’s not the first time. Anyway, I was finished. All those drugs and my legs were still not behaving. Aase had a good time at Epcot. I still can’t over how sporty her chair is. Leave it to Aase to turn a wheelchair into a fashion statement. She’s been such a joy. Erik has thoroughly enjoyed her. They’ve both traveled extensively and have quite a bit in common. They are a hoot to see together. She’s itty-bitty, cute pixey haircut, really cute….and Erik is athletic and 6′8". Which brings me to the next topic… Am I the only person in this group that weighs over 100lbs? What is going on here. Okay so I’m not petite, but I’m feeling like Man Mountain Dean. I’ve met two people Kate (KRopos) and now Aase Marit. I could tuck them both under my armpit (not that they are volunteering). Sandy Farb will be visiting starting August 18. Tell me now Sandy…do you buy your clothes in the children’s department? Please tell me your dress size is in double digits!!! It’s time to wake Aase Marit. Erik has a business meeting today but arranged for a cab to take us to the gate, where I can get a scooter. When we realized that my legs weren’t going to do Disney I called Care Medical to rent a scooter. They said there was a two day minimum, even for a few hours use ($60) and another $25 for the late notice. Phooey. I felt like the fleeced tourista. So we will rent at Disney. It’s 6:00AM. Yippee!!! Thanks for all your encouraging wishes. I love you guys. Carol Carol
