Have you been denied a disability claim by UNUM insurance?
Question:
None of this smells right. If your wife has a valid contract, read it! If UNUM has violated the terms of this contract (and your wife has not) then you will have no problem whatsoever winning a judgement against them in court. You also have a department of your state government that exists for the purpose of enforcing your state laws dealing with insurance. I think you are hiding something like a preexisting condition or something like that. Companies do not squander qood will by turning down piddly claims.
