Question:
Hi, As a marketing manager for a European website builder Im trying to estimate the business were in on a European level (how many European companies are on the web, which business categories are present, which businesses arent but should, what is the average investment for a website, how will this evolve in the next two years). Evaluate the present situation isnt that much of a problem. Trying to guess how its going to evolve is the hard part. The way I think I can tackle this is to make a projection based on the current situation in the US. To my big surprise, its not that easy to find an overview of the situation in the States (actually I havent found anything yet). Is there someone who can guide me here ? Someone who knows where to find the total number of business websites in the US, the average amount of money spent on it and a projection for the near future ? It would be a great help. You might try IntelliQuest (www.intelliquest.com). They specialize in market research for high-tech companies. They also do some syndicated survey’s that may provide the answers you need.
