Shame on you, Linda! 1/2 stone is 7lbs. Honestly, fancy not being able to divide 14 by 2!!
There are 16 ozzies in a lub, and 14 lubs in a stuh. There are 8 stuhs in a hundredweight, which of course is abbreviated to cwt, and 20 cwts in a ton, pronounced tunn. Not to be confused with a tonne which is also pronounced tunn but is quite different. HTH HAND

Response:
weight gain, achy joints, legs, head ache, these are all part of Prednisone. And, yes, eventually, after you get off of it, these things will get better. The weight might be hard to take off. : ) Reesie

Yes it is. After 6 months on Pred my eating habits changed, different things taste good… I’m not sure how much I gained because different scales say different things but I think it was at least 10 pounds. I was around 117 when I started. > One other main problem is extreme tiredness. I had to take a couple of days > off work last week because I was falling asleep in the shower. I got that alot too, it does get better. As wiith anything else, you have your good & bad days. Sometimes I’d get killer leg cramps, especially at high doses. Miss Kitty

Response:
Hi Robert, Yes, it will get better!! Once you’re off the pred completely, it’ll take several weeks (for me) or even a couple months or more to lose all the weight you gained (although some folks keep some of it) and to not feel so tired. It takes awhile for your body to get back to "normal", whatever that is, LOL! I’ve gained more weight on pred this time than I ever have – 28 lbs! I normally weigh around 100 to 105, but am up around 130 and refuse to buy any more bigger clothes, heehee. I’m on 30 mg/day now and am in the process of weaning. Good luck to you and hope you get to feeling better. Hugs, Linda – who’s sorry to say, she doesn’t know how much 1/2 stone is
