Thai Airways Business class service
Question:
Hi, Can anyone tell me how good (or bad) Thai’s Business class service is? Anybody know the pitch on their trans-Pacific 747-400s? When I asked a Thai representative she was unable to give me this information! I’m considering flying TG as opposed to UA on a forthcoming trans-Pacific flight and wanted to find out if it is worth taking its not-so-direct routing as opposed to UA’s direct flight. Thanks.

I don’t know about that.I’ve met some really great people(from all walks of life)on those long international flights.Sometimes to this day I will recall a person that I met on a flight, and wonder what they are doing now. It’s all part of the travel "experience",and I try to remember something or someone on every flight I take(and I do fly a lot). bobk

Your luck has been better than mine. I usually meet consultants trying to impress me whith their abilities – aka sell themselves. Sleep, in my somewhat-less-than-humble opinion is far more valuable.

Thai Business Class service is exceptionally good. This is on both their international and domestic service, although on domestic service the legroom is a bit tight. The FA’s on Thai are wonderful and very friendly. We frequently use Thai between Australia and Asia. Cheers Ross
