Happy New Year to  you all!! Last year was terrible for independent consultants, perhaps worse than the year before.  Since I’m considering a career move to independence, I was wondering how those currently in the field are faring. Has anyone noticed an up tick in business recently?  Almost all of the economic forecasts I’ve seen call for improvements starting in the second half of the year.  Is that supported by your experience? If you have experienced improvements, what consulting segment are you involved with?  I’m guessing, without any supporting data, that some segments have been doing better than others. Thanks, in advance, for sharing! Randy Bennett
